Flames vs Predators game report

Look closely at the photo and it shows 4 shots for the Flames in the first period. The second period was not much better. Flames finally woke up in the third and pressed hard to make it a close game, with 3 faceoffs in the final 10 seconds in front of the Predators goalie. But it was not to be. Only Giordano scored while the Predators won it 2-1.

The news today is that Wideman wearing thevhome red jersey was checked during the game by Predator, had blurred vision and or was confused, then proceeded to check the nearest white jersey skater from behind. But it wasn’t a player, it was a linesman. Look for Wideman to be suspended for a good chunk of the rest of the season.

Only Johnny Gaudreau and Mark Giordano really stood out in the game on the Games side and Johnny only tallied an assist on the Gio goal. A very slow start followed by a desperate attempt to rally and win usually succeeded last season but not so in this season. Flames playoff hopes for 2016 just got a little bleaker and the team is regressing since their hot December in 2015.
